P3 Chain Care Kit – Lube & Chain Brush

Even the highest quality chains and sprockets need to be reqularly cleaned and lubricated in order to get the best performance and lifespan.

Many people lubricate their chain regularly, but never clean it. This means that any grit or other abrasive contaminants on the chain when the lube is applied stay on the chain and can form a grinding paste with the lube which can accelerate wear. This is particularly true of 'dry' or 'wax' type chain lubricants.

This chain care kit includes:

  • 500ml can of AFAM Powerclean – This is an exceptionally brilliant chain cleaner that removes even the most stubborn grease, contaminants and old chain lube WITHOUT harming o-rings or x-rings
  • Our very own BTR Chain Brush which features tough bristles specifically positioned to enable you to easily scrub all sides of the chain
  • 400ml can of AFAM Powerlube – This is a very high quality chain lubricant specifically developed for lubricating motorcycle chains. As such it is of course completely safe to use on o-ring or x-ring chains, and is specially formulated to thicken up once applied in order to reduce fling
